I have had good service with FedEx and the US Postal Service but not with UPS. I live on a private road out in the country. The mailboxes are about a mile away from my house, near where the private road starts. The UPS guy insists on leaving packages sitting on top of the mailboxes so he doesn't have to drive the extra distance on the private road. Apparently he was documenting the packages as being delivered to my doorstep. That is a clear violation of UPS policy. However it took me half a dozen phone calls over a period of weeks, ending up with his supervisor's supervisor, to get him to stop doing that. I notice he is still doing it with my neighbors.
