It's absolutely amazing, after years of Yaesu being called out and doing nothing about key clicks in their rigs, that they would bring out a radio (FT-5000) and provide the user the ability to reduce the cw rise-time to 1 msec (menu mode, cw group, 063 A1A Shape). Just incredible. And they also recommend that users reduce the rise-time from the default 4 msec to improve qsk performance. Why is this even legal? 73, Barry N1EU -- View this message in context: http://elecraft.365791.n2.nabble.com/Fwd-New-Sherwood-report-tp5793377p5794518.html Sent from the [K3] mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
