Doug Check the frequency stamped on the crystal, mine was the wrong frequency and gave the exact same problem, I requested a new one and it was also the wrong frequency. In the end I obtained a high stability crystal locally and it came up exactly on frequency. I don't know if Elecraft was aware of this but at the time it was very frustrating.
