OK Jeff, yes I understand ... this hobby has brought me friends from all over the world. The photos on TV are devastating. We're on the Pacific Rim, we don't have hurricanes, typhoons [experienced one of those in Vietnam], cyclones, or tornadoes. We do have earthquakes however, and they come from nowhere instantly of course.
