Hi Don, I had the experience with KDVR3 in my past K3 and current K3. Both did not give problems like yours. Before going back to the gentleman in elecraft support, please just recheck your installation process, and tightening the connectors etc.

It is so bad that I will not put it out on the air. It is even worse when replaying a recording of a CW signal. I have the lastest firmware versions installed, MCU 4.25, FPF 1.14, DSP1&2 2.71 and DVR 1.03. I have tried recording with various settings for mike gain, compression, TX EQ, etc. but nothing seems to make a difference. Before I go to the "Guys in Aptos" has anyone else on the list had a similar problem with the DVR? Thanks in advance for any replies.
