Good Evening,
Today was a wonderful sunny day. It felt very warm with a temperature
of 62 degrees. I went for a hike around the property and found my first
trillium blooming in a protected spot. About that time I heard a sound
off to my left and saw three deer trying to sneak away from me. I had
interrupted their afternoon snooze. So I hiked in further to see if I
could hear anything else. As I passed under the canopy of the forest I
saw some large moving shadows. Looking up I saw two turkey vultures
trying to figure out what I was. It was so still I could hear the wind
from their flight passing through their feathers.
I have no idea how propagation has been this week. I have not been on
the air since last Sunday. I have spent a lot of time at the bench and on
my computer writing code. Just taking some time to write some more 3D
graphics routines for some scientific modeling applications I am fiddling
with. The math is fun and it makes me happy. Pretty moving colors :)
However, these actually mean something once you get past how they look!
If anyone is interested in acting as a relay station on either net
please email me. I will turn the net over to you for a few minutes so you
can call areas in my skip zone. It sure would prove helpful to those I
cannot reach directly.
Please join us tomorrow afternoon and evening.
1) Hail signs (first letter or two of the suffix of your call)
2) NCS help (as well as QSP/QNP <relay> help)
