Alan... I have the K2/100 as my exclusive radio. It has served all my needs admirably. Other radios are no doubt "better," but only marginally. The 100w amp can be swapped out for QRP when that mode is desired. I operate virtually 100% cw and in this mode, it's a very serviceable radio. And, as many others have said, I built it myself!
