Tom, Sounds like your "Ref Lvl" is set too high. The color of the waterfall reflects the vertical position of the trace in the frequency display. If you reduce the reference level, the frequency display will return to a viewable position, and the orange waterfall will revert to blue.
The reference level is per-band so you have to adjust it for each band you operate on. For my 2m setup the ref level is set at -145 dBm, which allows me to see the frequency trace when the pre-amp is on or off. ----- 73, Stan - KR7C -- View this message in context: http://elecraft.365791.n2.nabble.com/P3-P3-and-K144XV-tp5472582p6659797.html Sent from the Elecraft mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
