I fell in love with the three Elecraft K3's that we had at ST0R and have decided to order a new one for myself to replace the one that was lost in transit upon return from South Sudan. (all Intrepid-DX Group gear is lost) Each of the K3's at ST0R were slightly different. I brought a bare-bones model, however the better filtered models were noticably better. I am ordering in the next day or two in hopes to beat the price increase and to get it in time for my next DXpedition to Rotuma in late Sept.
