I just finished up with the calibration of the new K3. First, after all the emails and web searches, I decided to keep the KRX3. I am looking forward to using it.
Took about 8 - 10 hours to get to the calibration / testing phase. Audio is excellent. I have my FT-857 on a switch with the K3. There is no comparison. I got all discombobulated on the filter / mode setup. Somehow I had the 500Hz filter configured for USB/LSB. I got that figured out and I'm currently listening to a net on 3.916. I have decided to keep my SLUSB as I do other stuff with my computer other than amateur radio. If anyone would be so kind as to send me a pinout of the *cable* not the jumpers inside the SLUSB.
