Jim, I defer to your professional judgement.  But I would like to just 
add that David Clark seems to have reduced their trademark clamping 
pressure on the H10S-DC product perhaps because they are "listen only" 
and intended for *passengers* to listen to their entertainment devices, 
hence the 1/8" stereo plug.  I would be reluctant to dismiss this model 
based upon comparison to their aviation headsets which are, for sure, 
superior but high-quality bone crushers.   Stan WB2LQF
