I'm been in touch with Elecraft and it sounds like it may be a PIN diode in the KIO3 board might have gotten overloaded.
I opened up the case and checked and tweaked the TMP connections and so far I'm not sure whether or not that made a difference---the bands are pretty quiet now so I don't have a lot to go by (no test equipment other than my ears). Will be back here as soon as I can determine what's going on but it may require a trip to Aptos for my K3. Thanks again, Jeff -- View this message in context: http://elecraft.365791.n2.nabble.com/Dead-Sub-Rcvr-tp7191107p7223027.html Sent from the Elecraft mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
