About the same time I posted this here I got an email from Gary at Elecraft with a list of things to try under the hood of my K3.
I finally had enough time today after a busy work week to get to the testing. Everything except one of tests checked out OK. The one thing that didn't was when I touched a probe to the white trimmer cap at the back of the KRX3 (C218) I heard nothing---when I should have heard a lot of noise. So, assuming that may be the reason (or at least a subdstantial clue) why my sub-receiver is comparitively deaf these days; what say anyone else on this?
