The only things that are "high grade" about Monster cables and their competitors are the advertising hype and the price. As in "a fool and his money are easily separated." Stores LOVE crap like that because they are very high profit items, but they offer no real value. Stick to cable from good manufacturers. Belden and Gepco are the good US mfrs, and there are dozens of no-name companies selling stuff with questionable construction and performance. Canare is ok, but not great, and is overpriced. West Penn is also a step down. 73, Jim K9YC ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
