Allan, If you operate HF with the K2 as well as transverters, then the K60XV is the only way to go IMHO - the HF antennas stay connected and the transverter connects to the transverter IN and OUT jacks.
BTW, I would recommend either buying the updated lower rear panel or drilling your existing one for the RCA jacks on the rear panel.
