No problem, Don. I reviewed the Opposite Sideband null instructions in the latest KX3 Owner's manual (Rev B1, dated 4/24/12). The instructions appear clear and complete. They do mention using the antenna wire to pick up the MCU's 16MHz oscillator, if that is used as the source. I should be all set. Thanks es 73, Bruce

Did you receive a KXFL3 option quite recently? If so, there should have been a small 2 turn loop antenna supplied with it - along with the instructions. I do have a preliminary copy of the instructions - because I field tested those instructions.
