1) i was trying to set up a dipole antenna to get my first QSO. i was on 40 m and as i was tinkering with my head ]phones i noticed that i had a 0.1 drift on the LCD readout VFOA. the readout had dropped by that much.. in fact it did more then once. i would tune to a freq, and then listen (not touching anything) and without any other change it would drift by itself???
