Why not explain yourself better if you in fact know what you are talking about? If K3Util had a inbuilt config check box to prevent (meta)autoload then it could be used simultaneously with other useful progs on the K3. I like using the terminal on FSK-D RTTY, that's why I asked. I also want to try it with W4P3. Easy enough to clear a checkbox and reconnect direct for firmware/config usage. Other than that is a terminal only version of K3Util a possibility Dick? Other than that I guess I can try Kcomm.
