Adrian, As alternatives to a terminal only K3 Utility I know Fldigi works through LP-Bridge (but that uses soundcard DATA A mode or AFSK A mode) because I have used it along with NaP3.
I understand the deficiency - K3 Utility does it with no soundcard. MMTTY may also work through LP-Bridge, it is worth a try. 73, Don W3FPR On 6/5/2012 6:09 PM, vk4tux wrote: > Re: > "I guess I don't understand the need to have the K3 utility running all the > time, but if you want to do that, get a PC board with 2 COM ports. > > Monty K2DLJ " > > How does that work Monty, how can these two pc board comports be connected > to the K3 simultaneously? > When you say PC, do you mean a personal computer board? > > Why not explain yourself better if you in fact know what you are talking > about? > > If K3Util had a inbuilt config check box to prevent (meta)autoload then it > could be used simultaneously with other useful progs on the K3.
