HI Ron: On a quick look, this PS looks attractive, but my concern would be if it is designed to power electronic devices. Most of the write-ups deal with people who are powering a 12V DC picnic cooler, where the purity of the DC power is less of a worry.
I think there are better units available (electronic device capable) in the same price range. And, the more portable the supply is, the more it can cost. For my part, I like the Belkin U-Verse backup UPS... SLA battery with a built-in charge controller. 73 de Ray K2ULR On Jun 18, 2012, at 10:09 PM, Ronald Nutter wrote: > In doing some research for a possible portable power supply for the > KX3, > I found this option at a local Fry's that I am near while working an > out > of state client - > > http://www.frys.com/product/5872563?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG > > $30 for a 5.8 Amp power supply.
