This thread reminds me of a very annoying advertisement by the Mitsubishi motor company in the mid 80's.
It started with a very loud male voice, saying, "GET WHAT YOU WANT AND GET IT NOW!"... I'm very happy with the way Elecraft handles their business and I like their products very much, even when I have to wait for them.
