Guy, well Elecraft said they acknowledge the issue and they will work on it in the next firmware. When that happens I will pick it up. Of course with 4.51 you can get perfect copy in perfect conds, but try a very weak signal or a noisy background and you are doomed. The cwt threshold point dropped from 8 to 2 with the new firmware leaving little to work with. I consider myself pretty good at setting cwt and have trained a few k3 owners in this area to the finer points using RF gain and filter width to get it near perfect, once the threshold is set.
