Jay - I have a K3/10 and operate at about 10 watts all of the time. I use an 10-40 meter inverted vee up about 30 feet from my QTH here in Salinas. I have had many SSB contacts with this set up on all bands, but mostly on 10, 20, and 15 meters. The only problemI have had with DX is getting through the pileups with only 10 watts, but persistence has paid off in many cases. I would go the K3 route again if I did not have one already.

I am wondering if anybody might be willing to show me their K3 setup or even help me try it out in my location just to get a good feel for the performance? Thanks in advance!
