Hello all; I am ordering a P3 today and would like to consider ordering a second KXUSB as a backup because I have nightmares that my cable might fail and I will be left without a hookup at a critical moment.
Is the KXUSBa that came with my KX3 interchangeable as a backup? I know, I could try it, but if it is not interchangeable and I damage something I will be up the proverbial creek without a cable until I can get one. So, if anyone has tried it and it works, please let me know--as well a word from the gurus at Elecraft. If it is not compatible I will put a second cable on my P3 order to have a standby.
