Good Evening,
Most of the snow has melted but it looked quite nice for Christmas.
Now the weather is milder and the critters are out and about. If I go
for a walk the Grey Jays follow me in a group. Sometimes they will watch
me reading on the deck. It is not always about food. They are just
curious.
I have not been on the air this week but have read of E openings. I
should switch the K3 to 6 meters to see who I can find. Maybe I'll
reach further than the locals. 6 meter SSB and CW is fun and the
antennas are not too expensive to build. I have a loop and a beam but
my rotor remains rather old fashioned.
