That funny. The FT100D and the K3 are the only two HF radios I've ever owned. The K3 seems to have an impossible amount of front panel control after the FT100D. Like you Jim, I seldom go into the menus. I have a blast using the K3 - it is an absolute joy to operate on the digital modes.
