Hi Paul, Go to the wireman at : http://thewireman.com/connpix6.html Chasis connectors 1342 or 1343 are what I use. This can be connected thru a hole in your center insulator such as a piece of plexiglass or a PVC fitting.
Radio Shack has it as 278-105. Why don't you make the dipole 66 feet long (40 meters)? With a center pole you can use it as an inverted vee. I have a 50ft length of RG8X that has BNC connectors on either end. Of course i could cut one connector off and just solder the coax to the antenna but before i do that thought I would check. What I am trying to do is make up a 44' Dipole and feed it with coax for portable work when I go to a park, etc. Paul Gates, KD3JF K1 #0231 KX1 #1186 XG1 ______________________________________________________ Yahoo! for Good Donate to the Hurricane Katrina relief effort. http://store.yahoo.com/redcross-donate3/ _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [email protected] You must be a subscriber to post to the list.
