I have been using an old original Toshiba Tecra (15v 4a) switching power supply. I measured its output as 15v (with my Fluke meter) before plugging it in, and just had to replace the original (larger) coaxial plug with one for the KX3. I don't hear anything objectionable using it. I note that there are other claimed equivalent power supplies on eBay for about $7 including shipping. Brian N9ADG
