*WRONG!* I use it in my mode specific set-up macros in DXKeeper (WinWarbler) to reset the sub RX filters when switching among Phone (IS 1400;), DATA A (IS 9000;), FSK D (IS 9000;) and CW (IS 9000;). If I fail to include the IS command, the sub RX filters are not centered when switching from Phone to CW/DATA A/FSK D because the BW command leaves the center frequency unchanged.
I do not use diversity in those modes - I regularly use dual RX. 73, ... Joe, W4TV On 4/10/2013 8:56 PM, tomb18 wrote:
Nope. only in diversity. Otherwise IS only sets the main receiver. If you go into bset it doesn't change it and if you then give a IS; it only reports a question mark. IS never changes the sub receiver shift except in diversity. -- View this message in context: http://elecraft.365791.n2.nabble.com/IS-command-only-for-main-receiver-What-about-sub-tp7572463p7572471.html Sent from the Elecraft mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
