Good Evening,
I was hiking downhill this morning making more than enough noise when I saw a doe bounce almost straight up in the air. It seems I had awakened her from her mid-day nap and cornered her. I was walking along a path I had made by cutting through all of the wind fallen timber. She was at the end of the path where I had quit cutting last year. The funny thing is she moved only a few yards and then hid.

I monitored 6 meters this week but to no avail. All I ever found were a few birdies. Twenty meters was up and down when I checked it but my normal skeds were not possible. I worked the RMR Net on Thursday, that was not easy either. The sun does not look dappled enough for the QSB we're experiencing. There was an M-class flare yesterday but it was not pointed at Earth. What else could be the cause of our propagation conditions?

Please join us tomorrow afternoon and evening.
