I agree. I gave up on QNI'ing into the SSB Elecraft net because I can never copy the net control and obvously net control cannot copy me. A long time ago I did check in but was picked up by an alternate in southern California. It is not surprising that net control cannot hear me as he is only about 260 miles from my QTH -- dead zone for 20 meters.
