I have one also about all I can add is to cut very little off at a time till 
you get it where you want it. The antenna works FB with my KX3 without any 
tuner used after trimming.

If you are primarily a CW op then you are not going to grt much better. If 
you.operate mostly. SSB them you may want to shorten it.  If you want to split 
the difference then you have shorten it less than if you were optimize it for 
phone.  LNR does not recommend using a tuner although i use one anyway.  I have 
one of those as well and used it on a trip to Belgium.  Since then i made my 
own matchbox with a bigger inductor to handle more power.  I use 45 feet of 
wire and i tune it for all bands from 80 to 10 using the KX3 tuner.  You will 
be happy with a Par antenna as well.  Just do not put more than 25 watts 
through it.  You will burn up the matchbox if you do.
