I've trimmed several PAR EFHW antennas over the past few years and don't cut
anymore...I just fold the wire back on itself essentially shortening or
lengthening the wire until I hit the sweet spot.
Saves some heartburn if you make a mistake and "take a little too much off of
the top" (grin).
