Hello All, Well, Murphy raised his ugly head this weekend during the ARRL SSCW contest.
I am operating remote and everything was working fine; the K3 radio, KTA500 tuner, and KPA500 amplifier. I was monitoring things via the Elecraft software for the tuner and amp. I was on 80 meters and saw a HI SWR warning come on the KPA500 software, but not on the KAT500 software. I clicked the "Clear Error" area and then received a Comm ERR. The KPA500 software seemed to freeze and the only thing I could do was terminate the program. I re-started the software and it gave me an error message saying it could not make contact with the KPA500. I closed all the running programs on the remote PC, and then did a re-boot. All is working well except for the KPA500 software. I keep getting an error message telling me the KPA500 remote is not running and it can't find the amp. Any ideas that I can do via the Internet?
