GM: If you are looking for a unit to provide remote AC power switching, checkout the Professional 4-port Remote Power Switch from Ambery (Model IP-P3) see http://www.ambery.com/prreposwphco.htm
It can be remotely controlled via phone or web control and provides four separately switched AC outlets. In our remote station, I have 6 outlet power bars plugged into the first three switched AC outlets and a separate primary power relay controlled by the 4th outlet. The K3 power supply goes to the first power bar, other accessories (1216H & L from Microbit) and T2X rotators go to the 2nd & 3rd power bars and the 4th is used to control primary power to the KPA500. Ours has been in use for over a year (using only internet control) and has operated without any problems. 73, Doug VE3MV On 2013-Nov-03, at 10:07 PM, iain macdonnell - N6ML <[email protected]> wrote: > On Sun, Nov 3, 2013 at 12:37 PM, Jim - KE8G <[email protected]> wrote: >> Hello All, >> Well, Murphy raised his ugly head this weekend during the ARRL SSCW contest. >> >> I am operating remote and everything was working fine; the K3 radio, KTA500 >> tuner, and KPA500 amplifier.
