Strange. I have shipped electronic equipment valued at $1500 in the manufacturer's carton at the FedEx counter with no questions. One time someone came in with one of those commercial fiberglass shipping containers, declared it as electronic equipment with valuation in the five figures, and was not asked to open or have it checked. I suppose that this would also be the case if the ham equipment was packed in a Pelican case. 73 de K2ASP - Phil Kane Elecraft K2/100 s/n 5402 >From a Clearing in the Silicon Forest Beaverton (Washington County) Oregon ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
