I have a ongoing nuisance. On USB it seems high voices will pop/crack just like if AGC was off and hitting the AF limiter. Reducing RF Gain clears it up. Turning agc threshold down has no effect.
Is there a agc setting that might correct this? I haven't tried slope which is 15 (max). I get the qth list as daily digest and yahoo as individual email. It's much easier to respond on yahoo.
