This is a pretty expensive way to buy them -- even the 10 piece price is double his cost. If you need these parts (and most of us do), you might try to organize a group purchase with one or more local ham clubs for a full box, which will yield a much lower cost. I've done well with Dexter Magnetics near Chicago, and I've heard good reports about Lodestone Pacific. Expect to buy 2.4-in o.d. cores for about $5 in lots of 50 from these vendors, with additional discounts for larger quantity. Part numbers are in Appendix 1 of the tutorial.
