More info might help, Jim. Band, Freq, filter width settings? For example: Is it possible you are hearing CW at a relatively high pitch while in SSB, and when you switch to CW, it is just outside the (narrower) filter width?
Around hear, you mostly here CW with SSB at the lower end of 40M. There is an age old Canadian SSB net that meets right about 7.055, where there is also a lot of CW activity... Anyway, thanks for the input. Switching to rev doesn't seem to have any effect. Seems pretty odd to me that I can hear the signal on SSB but not on CW (Not to say that I don't get CW signals, just that some which appear on SSB aren't available on CW). Still looking for a solution.
