My K2 #922 ssb audio has a very pronounced sibilance problem (like a lisp). The amount varies with different people speaking. SF4 (dsp) will cancel it out but that affects intelligibility, and I don't have that much to spare. SF1-3 don't have much effect on it and turning the dsp off doesn't help. I don't know how long this has been going on as I haven't used ssb for a few years--I have a 50 pound Kenwood that does ssb pretty well if I feel the need for it. I haven't done the matched crystal mod and I'm wondering if that will help.
