Thanks for the response. The solution is simple. N1MM appears no to support the KX3 (K2 and K3) Command Set in full. If you want to avoid the double slashes // in callsigns, you have to use the standard N1MM key commands and a Keying interface like WinKeyer USB. More to carry if you go portable, but may be easier if you participate in a CW contest.
