Hi Tom

2 remarks:
1 If you are still using a CRT-screen for the PC than change it as soon as possible for a TFT-screen. QRM of a conventional CRT-screen is enormous.

2 Please check on your (remaining) CAT5 cables; for ham-radio use they should be shielded. They cost a few cents more, but they realy add by eliminating unwanted radiation.

Subject: [Elecraft] Ether Nets and Interferrence, redux

Good Morning Group,

A lot has been written about interference from Ethernets, and I would like
to share my latest experiences.

As of this morning, the 269 hetrodynes was down to 78, with 52 of those
positively attributable to the CRT monitor. Of the remaining 26, many are
probably internal to the K2, being harmonically related. I'll work on those
with another receiver later.
