I second this. I consider the "handling" part of Shipping and handling to be equivalent to the effort assembling a part & paying the company for doing that. The shipping is a fixed price for a company and the company has to pay staff. Not to charge for that order acceptance and handling time means the company donates that money from their budget and processing that order is a loss for them.
I too noticed the cost of shipping when I ordered the two KSYN3A and AM filter but I go back to my earlier post where I said I want Elecraft to succeed and prosper.
