1. Icom did not make claims about SDR, they made claims about the direct sampling architecture. The KX3 is about as SDR as you can get.
2. The proposed rig is first from “major” amateur radio vendors. That is, not counting FlexRadio, Apache Labs, etc. 3. When are they going to fill the hole left by the IC-706?
