Hi Wayne, Thank you for the thoughtful comments on the IC7300. I am spending some of my retirement in radio astronomy where direct RF sampling is invading. Radio astronomy is very different from most communications in that the wider the bandwidth the better. The only threat to my K3 is the KX3 and amplifier, we spend a lot of time in the bush with our camper trailer and KX3 plus KXPA 100. Thanks so much, I am rusted on to Elecraft.
