I am one of those folks who has the INRAD 700Hz filter (special-ordered by the guys at UNPCBs, http://www.unpcbs.com/). I use it exclusively for scanning the bands on CW. When I want to get tighter, I have the 400Hz filter below that. I've found that combination works wonderfully for me.
For SSB, I just have the stock 5 pole filter.
