I would agree. When used with decent power cables, good connectors properly applied and overall length of 4 ft or so, remote sensing will likely bring more issues to the table than necessary. Additional wiring, additional connectors and filtering required to keep RF out and the overall system stable.

Now if one has to run DC power 20 to 30 ft then remote sensing is most likely necessary.
