Thanks for all the comments guys. I may have unrealistically rosy memories of using Ten Tec gear but as I recall the QSK sounded very little from the sidetone when not transmitting - and I guess my definition of true QSK is just that. By the way, my T-R was set to 0.01 - it was better on the ears than 0.00. Anyway, I'm being picky - the rig works great and the only problems building it were down to sometimes being too lazy to read the instructions properly! Onto the other modules...
