Has anyone used toroids from the 'Toroid Guy' to build a K2?
Many people have, including me when I built my second K2/100.
Are his wound better or neater than someone can do by hand (I assume his are
machine wound)?
Depends on your skill and patience, I suppose. They are very, very well
done!
Is it worthwhile to buy his? Thanks.
Hard to say. If you love to wind toroids and strip enamel, then
probably not. If you don't want or like to do those tasks, or just want
to save time and reduce uncertainty, then probably so.
