I have built one k2 and I did not want to wind my own toroids so I bought them from the toroid guy I liked what I received and how they werer packaged so much so that I bought another k2 with all the options and a set of toroids to put up in my closet to save for that day when I can put it unbuilt on ebay and double my money. So I would recommend that you use the toroid guy if you want to save time and don't want to wind your own.
Has anyone used toroids from the 'Toroid Guy' to build a K2? Are his wound better or neater than someone can do by hand (I assume his are machine wound)? Is it worthwhile to buy his? Thanks.
